These themes relate to major events or social trends, helping documentarians convey the essence of these times and leaving a lasting testimony.<\/p>\n<p>CNEX hosts annual workshops where young Chinese directors pitch projects, with selected proposals receiving production grants. We also hold online documentary competitions for broader participation and invite writers, photographers, and artists to create theme-based works.<\/p>\n<p>We welcome global perspectives on our themes and collect related works from other cultures to broaden our understanding.
