A Promise Worth Its Weight in Gold, Unyielding Through Challenges.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2006, CNEX was established with the mission to produce “Ten films a year, a hundred films in ten years,” documenting Chinese society’s evolution.<\/p>\n

Starting with the theme “Money,” we have engaged independent Chinese documentarians. Our 2015 theme is “Commitment and Responsibility.”<\/p>\n

Over the past decade, Chinese society has pursued wealth, faced crises, and rebuilt homes. We’ve experienced the search for safety and trust, and the blending of virtual and real life.<\/p>\n

Individuals need well-being; families require resilience; businesses need sustainable development.<\/p>\n

Today, what events, organizations, and people in Chinese society exemplify role models, pivotal choices, perseverance, and courage towards the future?<\/p>\n

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII. Our predecessors opened a new world through their sacrifices.<\/p>\n

Today, in a rare period of peace, people are beginning to question and seek answers. Even the smallest commitments shape the cultural and social character of the Chinese new century.<\/p>\n
